The new program offers in-depth technical skills training to technicians.
Louisville, KY, October 29, 2019— Last month, Car Care Express launched a comprehensive training program, Reconditioning University (Recon U), for vehicle reconditioning technicians. The six-week program builds critical skills for new technicians in the company’s areas of service: paintless dent repair; paint touch up; headlight restoration; and wheel, windshield, and interior repair. Recon U also offers continuing education and skills advancement courses for the company’s existing technicians.
Car Care Express Founder and CEO, Mark Lanwehr, explained, “Our Car Care Express clientbase continues to grow. We’re expanding our service areas nationwide, launching eight new markets in 2020. Building our own skills development program ensures we’ll have the talent we need to sustain this growth and provide our clients the highest quality service.”
Recon U is a mix of classroom and online instruction, with hands-on and in-the-field training. The program is designed to build reconditioning skills from the ground up. The first graduates just completed their field training and are now serving clients.
The program is administered at Car Care Express headquarters in Louisville, KY. For more information about Car Care Express or Recon U enrollment, visit www.CarCareExpress.com.
